Because of the constant updates and changes this is a quick and easy format for StarCare to use and pass along to clients.
3	Please Note ! These directions are for standard GoldMine installs. We assume the following: OS = Win 2000 – WinXP Pro & IE 6.0 StarCare does not support ME – XP home – 95 GoldMine GMCE 6.0+ Working TCP Network GoldMine is installed and working! These directions are for StarCare Systems Clients

5	Step 2 Open GoldMine Either Laptop or Un-Docked User or WS Go to \Edit\ Preferences\Internet

8	E-Mail At this point you mail will work, if you have put in all the correct settings. In the next several steps we will suggest some mail options. If you wish to add several mail accounts to your GoldMine the click on the accounts tab and repeat the steps.

14	SMTP Last Note Note.. Your IT people or Mail provider should tell you if you need to use SMTP ID & PW. This is only for sending mail. NOT to receive mail. If you are a laptop on travel please note that some hotels and wireless systems do block SMTP traffic and you may need to wait or change your settings to send mail
