- You must either add or change your ODBC settings.
- Answer Wiz connects to GoldMine through MSSQL and two (2) OCBC settings.
- OCBC Connection to the main database GM_Main_YouName
- OCBC Connection to GoldMine User DBF
- MSSQL Client must be installed and pointing to server (Details in
install directions)
- GoldMine (or HEAT) must be running on the Workstation successfully.
- Note: Answer Wizard is a LOCAL install.

- That is the total setup for Answer Wizard!
- We suggest that you run a few simple reports to test the system.
- Please note that if the system errors out go back and check to see if
your ODBC/MSSQL ID and PW have changed to your login ID.
- If this happens you then must update the MDAC from 2.6 to MDAC 2.7 or
higher. This is free from
Microsoft or StarCare.
